God's Church cont.
but, that is not the church that Jesus describes. Jesus spoke of the church and it was far from perfect. There were all types of troubles and problems, yet Jesus said "this is where I am". You see, there is no perfect church. Every church has it's ups and downs and problems... we are no exception. We are made up of all kinds of people from all walks of life. Factory workers, teachers, retirees, students, farmers, small business owners and many others. Some have been Christions for years, others have been saved for just a short time, and still others are in the process of being drawn unto the Lord. You see, the church is made up of all sorts of people withe one thing in common, Jesus. Our goal at the Marshfield Church of the Nazarene is to show the world who Jesus is by the way we love each other. We seek to "Become Christlike for the sake of others." Jesus said that people would know who He was by the way His people loved each other. We pray that people will see Jesus through the life of His Church.
